SSWhite Diamond Burs are manufactured with natural diamond abrasive grit that is precisely sized and bonded to provide optimum cutting characteristics and consistency. Diamonds are made in two distinct categories – single use (Piranha) and multi-use (Revelation, TDA, and Z-Diamonds). The diamond abrasive is the same on both, however multi-use diamonds go through an additional plating process that enhances the bond between the shank and the diamond grains to increase longevity. Single use diamonds don’t have as strong of a bond, however without the additional plating, they are in essence “naked” and provide more aggressive cutting characteristics for the user. Even though they are categorized as “single-use,” multiple uses are often available when cutting different materials.
